ROBINHOOD CHAIN. A city of 33 towers opens for business on October 2, and the first thing residents should know is that nothing in it stays theirs.
The city is HoodRich. The towers carry the names of the largest companies in the world. The currency is $RICH. The law, in full: any tower can be bought by anyone at the posted price, at any moment, and the owner gets no vote.
THE DEAL
Every sale marks the tower up 30%. The outgoing landlord is paid back in full with 15% on top, as long as the buyout comes within 24 hours. City records show a tower bought at 100 and taken at 130 sends 115 to the old owner, 9 to every landlord in town, 5 to the Vault and 1 to the furnace.
THE JACKPOT
The Vault runs on a 24-hour clock. Each purchase winds it up by an hour, never past 24. When it strikes zero, the last buyer in the city walks off with half. Owners split a fifth. The rest waits for the next round. Expect the cheapest towers to change hands at strange hours.
THE EVICTION NOTICE
No buyer in 24 hours? The posted price sinks 10% a day until it hits the tower's opening price. A landlord who paid top coin and waited too long gets back less than they put in. City documents are blunt about it: whoever buys the peak and finds no buyer loses.
THE FINE PRINT
There is no mayor. The contract has no owner and no admin functions. Nobody can rewrite the law, close the gates or reach the money. The team keeps no treasury. Every coin paid out was paid in by another resident.
